ANNUAL REFRESHER TRAINING COURSE
Welcome to the University of Hawaii's on-line ANNUAL REFRESHER training module for Bloodborne Pathogens. Presented in this training module is the information required by HiOSH's (Hawaii Occupational Safety and Health) Biological Agents and Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, including the requirements of the Standard, nature and epidemiology of bloodborne pathogens, and the practices and conditions needed for protecting yourself and others against their exposure, as well as any new updates or changes to the standard.
If you have not yet had INITIAL Bloodborne Pathogens training please visit the Biosafety program website Biological Safety Training Schedule page to make arrangements for attending an initial training session. NOTE: Refresher training cannot be substituted for an initial session; however, initial training is accepted as a substitute for refresher training.
TRAINING REGISTRATION
This training module is intended for use by those working within the University of Hawai'i community only.
In order to register for this course you need to be a part of the University of Hawaii community and have a UH username and password. If you do not have a UH username/password you will need to contact ITS to obtain one before you can register for this course.
